Description

iL10Nz extension is a complementary tool for iL10Nz web application. It allows to do the validation of the web site you are localizing to check the translation in their context when using the web site.

How to use it

After you have installed the add on in Firefox, select the menu "View" / "SideBar" / iL10Nz Extension.

The extension will appear as a Sidebar on the left side.

1. Login using to iL10Nz with your username

2. Select your project

3. Select the Language in which you want to search the strings

4. Select the column (source/target = request the string in ther source/target language column)

5. Click the Inspect button. This action will allow you to click on any element in your web page to extract the string you want to search.

6. Click on the Search button to find the correct translation in your iL10Nz project.

Note: You can also right click on the element to inspect it.

When you have found the string you want to translate/validate, select the string in the listbox

The string will then appear in the translation panel where you can update the string.

After you have updated the string, click on the Send button to submit your change.
